I’m a full-stack developer and I love to build software. Over the last two decades I’ve created many different applications, from backend services to web front-ends, in a variety of technology stacks. I started with in-premise solutions with C/C++, then Java, and finally moved to cloud solutions in .Net Core running on AWS and GCP.
For me, it’s gotten to the point where the real challenge in building software is not the technology itself but the human factors: forming a high-performance team, communicating with stakeholders and handling expectations.
Over the last 5 years my role has transitioned into a tech lead position. I’m involved in influencing the direction that the product takes, offering technical advice, making technical decisions and supporting junior developers, while still being a hands-on developer.
In 2015 I became a remote worker and I prefer to work mostly from home, with occasional visits to the office. I find that working remotely greatly increases my creativity and motivation.
