I live in Chicago and grew up in Massachusetts as a Red Sox fan.

I currently work for a medical software company, working on an assortment of tools

• An internal website written in PHP, which seems to be constantly expanding in scope
• Installer written in NSIS, plus AutoIt automation to test that installer
• Assorted tools written in Perl
• Jira SysAdmin - first layer of internal support before people start complaining to our IT department

I'm also dabbling with new features of Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3, although I'm much more of a back-end coder than front-end designer.

On my to-do list are learning C++ and C#.
