As you have quoted from @RobertKiyosaki, defining an asset as something that produces income, and a liability as something that incurs expenses. This gives an investor a useful operational definition to measure investments. Although these definitions are not strictly accurate from accounting terms, they clearly show the investor the importance of choosing and viewing investments using a critical tool. | |
