[HSBC][4] offer a current account with no monthly fee and no minimum pay in requirements. Pretty much every major UK bank or building society offer a free, no minimum requirement current account. I think you may be getting confused with many of the switch incentives offered to encourage you to leave your current bank and switch using the [switch guarantee scheme][5]. They often come with conditions like paying in a minimum amount and have at least two direct debits. You’re not trying to switch your main account so these don’t apply to you.
