I am not sure what it means for an annuity to "accept funds" from SEP IRAs. Does it mean that the purchase of an annuity using funds in a SEP IRA does not constitute a withdrawal of funds from the SEP account? The annuity, in effect, is being held in the SEP account? Or something else?

  • It only makes sense this way. If it's an withdrawal, the term 'accepts funds from SEP IRA' makes no sense; if you would need to withdraw first, it's just money, and of course they accept money.
