I switched from full-time to per diem status on March 9th. For my paycheck through March 9th they deducted my usual cost for benefits, but then they did the same thing 2 weeks later when I wasn't full-time anymore. When I asked about it they told me they were covering me until the end of March, so they continued deducting the cost. Can they still deduct the cost for full-time benefits out of my paycheck when I'm not full-time anymore??? I wasn't expecting any deductions to be taken out of my per diem paycheck, especially since at that point I'm not even eligible for benefits.

What does your employment contract/benefits handbook say? What, if any, paperwork did you sign when transitioning? What country/jurisdiction are you in? – yoozer8 Apr 22 '19 at 12:58
