Here is an snippet from tick data for a stock from NSE:

Tick data

I have the following questions:

  1. Why are the BuyQty and SellQty different? Shouldn't they match?

  2. Shouldn't LTQ = BuyQty+SellQty?

If that was US tick data, the BuyQty and SellQty would represent the bid and ask volume at the current best bid and offer price. Check to see if that's the case with your exchange. LTQ would be the "Last Traded Quantity" or the volume of the last trade. – Bob Baerker Jan 31 at 16:25
