As it says at the bottom, "The comparison assumes the use of equivalent capital" - so any difference between the buyer's mortgage and the tenant's rent is invested by the tenant at the deposit rate. As for point A, the down payment, for simplicity the application models a 100% mortgage, so there is no down payment. | |
