Though, interestingly, in my case, our company has already said that working from home has been extremely successful, so when we all go back into the office at full capacity, it will not be 5 days per week, unless you want to. Seems like in my case I could be using my home office for a while. And for me with a gym in my basement, I don't think I'll go back to a gym ever again, at least not for working out (maybe for other sports). | |
Mar 8, 2021 at 18:29 | comment | added | lizziv | I agree with the main point of your answer, and I'd caution folks against buying bigger based on their pandemic lifestyle if the changes aren't permanent. i.e., if you know you'll be back to working in the office within the next year or so, you probably shouldn't pay extra for a room to dedicate as a home office. | |
