Possible Duplicate:
Ontario HST rebate: I didn’t get my rebate. What phone number can I call?

Just received a paper in the mail on Friday. "Goods and services Tax/Harmonized Sales Tax (GST/HST) Credit Notice"

It says I DON'T qualify because my family net income is more than $45,125. I thought anyone who earns less than $160,000 should get a HST rebate cheque??? Shouldn't I be eligible for this? Neither my wife or myself have received any HST rebate cheque. :(

The GST/HST Credit and Ontario Sales Tax Transition Benefit (OSTTB) are separate and distinct programs. You are confusing them as the same thing. They are not the same:

  • The GST/HST Credit is an ongoing credit from the federal government intended for low income families. See here.
  • Whereas: The OSTTB would be the "HST rebate cheque" you are referring to, and it's temporary: only in 2010 and 2011, and it comes from the Ontario provincial government, although it is administered by Canada Revenue Agency. Yes, the income cut-off is $160,000. See here.

If you didn't get your HST rebate yet, you should contact the Canada Revenue Agency at 1 877 627-6645.
