Personal Finance & Money Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for people who want to be financially literate. It's 100% free, no registration required.

This is primarily relevant to the United States.

I've tried:

  • USAA
  • Fidelity (FullView 3rd party tool)
  • Mint.com
  • Yodlee MoneyCenter

The problem with ALL of these is that I can't import transactions from the last 8 years of my checking account! I can't stand the clunky and complicated interface of an offline tool like Quicken. Maybe there is a happy middle-ground I'm missing? I prefer Mint.com the most out of these 4 because of its free mobile app - assuming I'm not being affected by the missing transactions issue that others are complaining about on the forums (I haven't checked that yet).

So I'm looking for a cloud/mobile/desktop budget/investment/transaction tracking application that can update accounts in the background AND import historical transactions past the 30-90 day automatic import limit. It should also have pretty charts. Simple, right? :)
